This summer, we’re trying something a little different — and we think you’re going to love it!

Instead of our traditional small groups, we’re launching Summer of Fun — a summer filled with simple, meaningful ways to connect with one another through shared experiences.

Here’s how it works:

Members of our church family are hosting all kinds of activities throughout the summer — everything from hikes and happy hours to game nights and backyard gatherings. You get to choose what sounds fun to you and jump in!

And the best part? It’s already starting to take shape. We’ve got people signed up to host things like:

  • A Christ-centered yoga class focused on gentle movement and reflection
  • Backyard line dancing (yes, really — and all skill levels welcome!)
  • A challenging hike up Mt. Morrison for those craving a little adventure
  • A fun night of Mahjong & mocktails
  • A relaxed happy hour at home with shared appetizers

And this is just the beginning!

Want to join the fun?

In May, we’ll release the full list of Summer of Fun events so you can browse and sign up for whatever sparks your interest. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, or just enjoy a Colorado summer evening there will be something for you.

Want to host something?

Hosting is simple: Pick something you already enjoy, choose a date and time, and we’ll take care of sharing it with the church. That’s it!

You don’t need to be an expert, have a perfect house, or plan anything elaborate. If you enjoy it, chances are someone else will too.

Love walking your neighborhood? Invite others along.

Enjoy grilling? Host a backyard dinner.

Have a favorite park, trail, or coffee spot? Make it a gathering.

We’re collecting hosting ideas over the next two weeks — please submit yours by April 30.

Whether you host or simply show up, we’re really excited about a whole summer of connection with this community. Happy Summer of Fun!
