Serving
Spread love through serving
We believe serving isn't just something we do; it’s one of the primary ways God transforms our hearts. At Platt Park you are invited to serve out of joy, gratitude, and a response to God's invitation — never out of guilt, duty, or obligation. There is no requirement to log hours or check a box.
When you step into God’s work using your unique gifts, passions, and hands — whether welcoming guests, helping with tech, or loving our neighbors — it makes a lasting impact on others and ourselves.
Whether you feel called to serve right here in our Sunday gatherings, alongside our neighbors across Denver, or through partnerships outside our city, there is a place for you to step in. Explore our three main serving environments below to find where you might want to get involved.

Serving in Denver
One of our core practices is "compassioning" — living as a present, active blessing to our neighbors and world as we share God's love with others.
We have several local serving opportunities with ministry partners across the Denver and the Platt Park and Wash Park areas. Through our life, words, and deeds we can impact our city for Christ and work alongside our community as we pursue justice and mercy for all God’s people.
Christ’s Body Ministries – Meals, clothing & support for unhoused neighbors
Giving Heart Englewood – Day shelter support & community care for adults in need
Denver Rescue Mission – Emergency shelter, food provision, and rehabilitation support
Open Door Ministries – Urban outreach, housing, and youth/community development
Immigrant Assistance Team – Support newly arrived families in Denver
Wash Park & Neighborhood Outreach – Local community partnerships
Serving outside Denver
At Platt Park Church, our call to love and serve extends beyond our city limits. Through long-term regional and global partnerships, we come alongside communities near and far to support holistic development, meet tangible needs, and build meaningful relationships.
Whether traveling on a short-term service trip to rural Colorado, building home infrastructure in Latin America, or supporting educational and healthcare initiatives across the globe, there are many ways to engage.
Explore our regional and international partnership areas below, select a team to learn more, and we’ll connect you with upcoming trip details and updates:
