Employment Opportunities

Platt Park Church staff is made up of a fun, vibrant group of bi-vocational leaders who are passionate about ministry and life beyond the church walls. Located in the heart of Denver’s Platt Park neighborhood, our team brings energy, creativity, and real-world experience to our faith community.

If you’re looking to join a ministry-focused team that values both professional excellence and spiritual growth, Platt Park Church might be the perfect place for you. Please check out the positions we currently have available.

Lead Pastor

Platt Park Church sees the primary ministry of the church as the interactions, groups, visitations, and conversations that happen throughout the week. In this model, Sunday worship becomes a celebration of the ministry that has happened throughout the week and a time for deepening our connection with God to fuel that ministry. We are seeking a “weekday pastor” who will support and foster ministry in the church throughout the week instead of focusing only on Sundays. This is a full-time position.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning
  • Leadership Development
  • Congregational Care
  • Preaching/Teaching (Oversee and help coordinate the Teaching Team and teaching content. Preach/teach an average of 1-2 weeks per month.)

Interested candidates should send a letter and resume to jobs@plattparkchurch.org.

WHO WE ARE

Our Mission

Helping people become passionate, devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

To see our city reflect God’s redemption.

Our Statement of Faith: The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

Our Core Practices

Worship: Loving the Triune God with our whole selves

Community: Building loving relationships.

Serving: Putting the needs of others ahead of our own.

Transformation: Growing in Christ-like character.

Faith Sharing: Inviting others to follow Christ through life, word and deed.
