The mission of Platt Park Church is to help people become passionate, devoted followers of Jesus Christ — and what continues to stand out is how that mission is expressed not as a program or checklist, but as an invitation. An open-ended, ongoing invitation into the mystery of life with God.
That invitation flows from John 15: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” At Platt Park, we believe there is always more — more depth, more freedom, more of God than we’ve yet experienced — and we hold that invitation with openness, trusting each person to respond in their own way and time.
As a teaching team — Charlie, Cari, Stephen, Ally, and James — we don’t just teach about this journey; we are seeking to live within it. We are fellow travelers, sharing not only Scripture but also wisdom from our own ongoing exploration.
